Guests Say It Best

“We loved this tranquil, lovely cottage. It is surrounded by mature mesquite trees and completely feels like a “hideout”. The pond provides a soothing backdrop while enjoying time on the screened patio. The antique furniture is beautiful and brings you back to turn of the century 1900’s, yet it is stocked with all the modern necessities. Palo Duro Canyon is minutes away with a multitude of activities.
We would love to come back and spend more time!”

“Very unique little spot on earth. Much detail and love has been put into making the experience fun.
Great views, huge screened porch and large/open floor plan.
Perfect for a romantic trip!”

Andrea‘s place is lovely, very quiet and private. The grounds are beautifully tended to, and Andrea made herself very available for any questions and gave great recommendations.
I loved eating fresh eggs from her chickens each morning,
Reading on the screened in porch on the swing, and taking luxurious baths.
Thank you for your attention to so many details Andrea!

“This Airbnb was the best I have ever stayed at. The property was gorgeous and located closer than thought to the canyon. The building was super cozy and came with just the right amenities. The decor was perfect with all the little western touches. 10/10 recommend and looking forward to staying at again.”

“This place is a gem. It’s super rustic and yet somehow still maintains superior comfort. Andrea is an incredible host and she’s made connections with her neighbours to offer incredible local experiences. She knows the area well and is super friendly. Did I mention that there are horses in the Airbnb? Not next to it in some field. Not down the way. I mean literally downstairs from the beds. I loved every second of staying in that incredible refurbished stable. And the opportunity for adventures up there near Amarillo was exhilarating. I’ll definitely book this place again. It’s a perfect place for a couple, for some friends, or for a family. 10/10.”

“Riders Roost was more of an experience than a place to stay! Very clean with comfortable beds and a great nights sleep! Absolutely loved the charm of the barn and the animals. The porch and fire pit were amazing and a great way to enjoy the peace and quiet! Excellent location near the Palo Dura Canyon entrance and close to town where you will find an amazing selection of restaurants. Andrea was an excellent host with great communication.”
